final MOTEL placards

through some editing and new photography, i've chosen to do a couple of things to better the placards: the type is now the full title (slowly revealed), the angles of photography have been adjusted according to the most interesting part of the building: the roof made of a chopstick wrapper, the staircase to the second floor, the "baggage identification attached to luggage" (baggage and luggage -score). and the icon is fully digital, posing as a stamp on a postcard (jamie had the idea of motel postcard -you know the kind). i love it.

each postage stamp is different, pulled from images of vintage postage on the internet, and i lightened and darkened areas of all other type to allow the title to pop. i would totally buy these postcards and send them to all my friends. shoot, i might do it anyway. "wish you were here."
