Through deep exploration of motels as a space, I've developed a heightened sense of how simple changes of form can enhance the meaning of commonplace objects, i.e. through "printing" techniques, through color meaning and relationship (psychologically and formally), and editing of objects for the sake of the set. A new important factor I might employ in other projects is the power of a connotations list; this helps me keep focused and my work cohesive.
