DP: The Question

I'm not entirely sure what my question will be, because I'm not sure what role Jessica and I will play in conjunction with the KU/El Dorado class, but here's a couple stabs at it:

  • How can narrative structures and spatial experience enrich and add cultural context to a space with a forgotten/stigmatized history for new generations?
  • How can branding encourage a sense of responsibility and add value to an existing infrastructure ("come together") for current residents & merchants of Manheim Park/Troost and the potential incomers?

How can branding encourage a sense of responsibility and add value, in an un-invasive/organic way, for Troost/Manheim Park's current residents & potential incomers?
  • How can a bottoms-up approach create a collaborative documentary of the Manheim neighborhood throgh stories, aspirations and memories to excite the potential of a "new leaf" while preserving its roots?
